The discovered bones of the P. jonesi is on display at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History in Fort Worth, Texas.

Discovery:
The footprints of the P. jonesi were found along with bones in the Lone Star State. They were mistaken for the footprints and bones of the Pleurocoelus. That made the original state dinosaur the Pleurocoelus, but thanks to Peter rose who corrected the mistake the P. jonesi replaced the Pleurocoelus.
